Analyzing Anatomical Factors Contributing to Angle Closure Based on Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging

Bingsong Wang et al.

Summary: This study aimed to analyze anatomical factors contributing to angle closure using AS-OCT imaging, and found that ACV, PCC, IT750, and LV were significantly associated with angle closure. Factor analysis revealed four separate mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of angle closure.

HDAC3-dependent transcriptional repression of FOXA2 regulates FTO/m6A/MYC signaling to contribute to the development of gastric cancer

Zhi Yang et al.

Summary: The study confirmed the oncogenic role of histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) in gastric cancer, showing that HDAC3 promotes cell viability, migration, and invasion of gastric cancer cells by regulating the FTO/m6A/MYC signaling pathway. These findings provide new insights for therapeutically targeting epigenetic modifications in gastric cancer treatment.

Expression profiles and prognostic roles of m6A writers, erasers and readers in gastric cancer

Jing-Jing Jing et al.

Summary: Thirteen m6A enzymes were upregulated in GC tissues. Writers like METTL3, RBM15, and WTAP were associated with pathological stage, while the eraser FTO and reader YTHDF3 were related to tumor stage. Additionally, ALKBH5 expression was linked to GC prognosis, and YTHDC2 was associated with the survival of GC patients. Abnormal changes in key m6A RNA methylation genes may have a significant impact on GC development and prognosis.
