Parallel fish migration optimization with compact technology based on memory principle for wireless sensor networks

Summary: This paper proposes a parallel fish migration optimization algorithm with compact technology (PCFMO) and implements a sequential communication strategy and compact technology to save memory space. Experimental results demonstrate that the PCFMO algorithm achieves better results and occupies less population space. Additionally, by incorporating the memory principle into the PCFMO algorithm, the convergence of finding the optimal cluster head set is accelerated, leading to an extended life cycle of the wireless sensor network (WSN) and increased message transmission.
