Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hip abduction isometric strength and movement during the single-leg step down task. The results showed that in pitchers, increased hip abduction torque weakly correlated with decreased knee valgus on the lead leg, and with decreased pelvic drop on the trail leg.
