Ultrasound lymphatic imaging for the diagnosis of metastatic central lymph nodes in papillary thyroid cancer

Zhenhua Liu et al.

Summary: The aim of this study is to develop a lymphatic imaging technique using ultrasonography for improved detection of lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid cancer patients. The sensitivity of detecting positive targeted nodes significantly increased with the ultrasound lymphatic imaging method. Surgical results also showed a positive correlation between the degree of metastasis and an increase in the score.

Thyroid imaging reporting and data system (TIRADS) for ultrasound features of nodules: multicentric retrospective study in China

JianQiao Zhou et al.

Summary: A practical and simplified Chinese thyroid imaging reporting and data system (C-TIRADS) was established based on a Chinese patient database. Analysis of ultrasound features in 2141 thyroid nodules revealed associations between certain features and malignancy, with the logistic regression equation method showing the highest diagnostic performance.
