Auxin Metabolism Is Involved in Fruit Set and Early Fruit Development in the Parthenocarpic Tomato R35-P

Shaoli Zhang et al.

Summary: This study found that parthenocarpic tomato line R35-P has nearly double the IAA content compared to non-parthenocarpic tomato line R35-N at -2 and 0 days after anthesis. After pollination, there was an increase in GA(1) content in CK, but the levels of GAs were notably low. Additionally, Ps and CK had lower SA content compared to Pe at all four stages.
