This article introduces three Chinese scientists with rich research experience. They have unique research interests in the fields of industrial catalysis and metal catalysis, C1 chemistry catalysis and CO2 utilization, as well as industrial catalysis and zeolite catalysis.
Renyang Zheng received his PhD degree in chemistry (2012) from Peking University and now is a professor in the Science and Technology Department of Sinopec Corporation. His research interests include industrial catalysis and metal catalysis. Zhicheng Liu received his PhD degree in chemistry (2003) from Fudan University and now is a professor and senior expert at the Sinopec Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology. His research interests include catalysis of C1 chemistry and CO2 utilization. Zaiku Xie received his PhD degree in chemical engineering (2000) from the East China University of Science and Technology and now is a professor and deputy chief engineer at Sinopec Corporation. His research interests include industrial catalysis and zeolite catalysis. He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017.
