Lower chromosome abnormality frequencies in miscarried conceptuses from frozen blastocyst transfers in ART

Endometrial thickness is not predictive for live birth after embryo transfer, even without a cutoff

Bahar Shakerian et al.

Summary: This study found that endometrial thickness (EMT) does not have predictive value for live birth when a lower threshold of EMT is not employed for embryo transfer (ET). There was no linear association between EMT and live birth or miscarriage rates, and the predictive value of EMT for live birth after fresh, frozen-thawed, and all ETs was low.

Impact of previous Caesarean section on reproductive outcomes after assisted reproductive technology: systematic review and meta-analyses

Jing Zhao et al.

Summary: A previous Caesarean section negatively affects the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate during assisted reproductive technology treatments, while increasing the risk of miscarriage and difficult transfer. However, factors such as endometrial thickness and number of oocytes retrieved show no significant differences compared to women with previous vaginal delivery. Further studies are needed to evaluate the impact of Caesarean section on twin and single pregnancies.
