Inhibited Aggregation of Lithium Salt in Spiro-OMeTAD for Perovskite Solar Cells

Guoxin Li et al.

Summary: In this study, CsI was used as a dopant to modify Spiro-OMeTAD, reducing voids in the hole transport layer and improving the functional characteristics of the material. The formation of a complex with TBP prevented rapid evaporation and eliminated cracks in Spiro-OMeTAD. The uniformly dispersed TBP inhibited the agglomeration of Li-TFSI in Spiro-OMeTAD, increasing conductivity and adjusting the energy level. The CsI-modified perovskite solar cells achieved a high efficiency and exhibited excellent long-term stability.

Charge Compensation by Iodine Covalent Bonding in Lead Iodide Perovskite Materials

Anthony Ruth et al.

Summary: Metal halide perovskite materials are next-generation semiconductors that enable low-cost, high-performance solar cells and optoelectronic devices. Through theoretical simulations and experimental analysis, researchers have identified iodine trimers as the preferred structural motif for incorporating excess iodine into the perovskite lattice, providing important insights for understanding and stabilizing these photoactive defects.

Numerical Simulation: Design of High-Efficiency Planar p-n Homojunction Perovskite Solar Cells

Brajendra S. Sengar et al.

Summary: Perovskite-based planar homojunction solar cells show higher efficiency and performance advantages, reducing recombination losses through the built-in electric field. Simulation analysis reveals that device performance depends on the thickness and defects of the perovskite layer, with interface defects influencing performance. By designing homojunction devices with perovskite, higher efficiencies have been achieved.

Based on Ultrathin PEDOT:PSS/c-Ge Solar Cells Design and Their Photoelectric Performance

Ju Su et al.

Summary: The optical properties of PEDOT:PSS/c-Ge hybrid solar cells based on octagon germanium nanoparticles were analyzed to achieve high broadband absorption. Changing the structural parameters of nanoparticles improved light absorption to over 90%. By placing PEDOT:PSS on top of O-GNPs and adding PMMA, the solar cell conversion efficiency and electrical characteristics were further enhanced.
