Galerkin finite element analysis of magneto two-phase nanofluid flowing in double wavy enclosure comprehending an adiabatic rotating cylinder

Wael Al-Kouz et al.

Summary: In this study, the finite element method was used to simulate heat transfer and irreversibilities in a mixed convection two-phase flow through a wavy enclosure filled with water-alumina nanoliquid containing a rotating solid cylinder in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. The results showed that increasing the Rayleigh number enhanced the maximum value of the flow function and the heat transfer process, while increasing the waviness of the active surfaces or the rotational velocity of the cylinder or the Hartmann number suppressed fluid motion and hindered heat transfer.

Numerical Simulation of Heat Mass Transfer Effects on MHD Flow of Williamson Nanofluid by a Stretching Surface with Thermal Conductivity and Variable Thickness

Saeed Islam et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the radiative aspects of magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow on an electrically conductive Williamson nanofluid, investigating the effects of melting heat flow, variable thickness, and thermal conductivity characteristics. The mathematical formulation is based on Prandtl's boundary layer theory, and involves transforming constitutive flow laws of PDEs to ordinary nonlinear ODEs for computation. Numerical algorithms in Mathematica software are utilized, with comparisons showing good agreement with another homotopic approach.
