Synthesis and Characterization of Indium Tin Oxide Nanowires with Surface Modification of Silver Nanoparticles by Electrochemical Method

Shu-Meng Yang et al.

Summary: In this study, high-density and crystalline indium tin oxide nanowires (ITO NWs) were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition, and silver nanoparticles were decorated on the surface of the NWs using an electrochemical method. The ITO NWs exhibited visible light-emitting properties and high resistivity, indicating their potential application in electronic and optoelectronic devices.

Dual-Metal Sites Boosting Polarization of Nitrogen Molecules for Efficient Nitrogen Photofixation

Yida Zhang et al.

Summary: By constructing Mn-W dual-metal sites on WO3, efficient N-2 photoreduction was achieved with an impressive ammonia production rate, representing the best catalytic performance among tungsten oxide-based photocatalysts for N-2 fixation reported to date. This concept of dual sites construction offers a powerful platform for the rational design of highly efficient catalysts for nitrogen fixation and beyond.

Synthesis of morphology-improved single-crystalline iron silicide nanowires with enhanced physical characteristics

Wei-Jie Huang et al.

Summary: Single-crystalline iron silicide nanowires were successfully synthesized using the pre-deposition method, showing significantly improved morphologies and physical characteristics without the need for a catalyst or template. The alignment and aspect ratio of the nanowires were considerably enhanced, and the beta-FeSi2 nanowires synthesized by the PDM outperformed those made by conventional CVD in terms of field emission and magnetic properties.
