An assessment of parents' knowledge and awareness regarding paracetamol use in children: a cross-sectional study from Palestine

Findings revealed a serious lack of knowledge among parents regarding the appropriate use of paracetamol, highlighting the need for increased awareness and education among healthcare providers and the public.

Paracetamol-related intentional drug overdose among young people: a national registry study of characteristics, incidence and trends, 2007-2018

Summary: This study found an increase in paracetamol-related intentional drug overdoses among young people between 2007 and 2018, with the highest annual percentage change in females aged 18-24 years. Conversely, rates of paracetamol-related intentional drug overdoses decreased significantly among males aged 18-24 years. This highlights the need for interventions targeting IDO in young people, particularly young females.
