Tailoring, structural elucidation, DFT calculation, DNA interaction and pharmaceutical applications of some aryl hydrazone Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) complexes

Ahmed M. Abu-Dief et al.

Summary: The research focuses on treating Mn(II) Cu(II) and Fe(III) metal ions with the aryl hydrazone DHPN ligand, resulting in three new solid complexes. Characterization techniques revealed the coordination of these complexes, their significant interaction with DNA, and their anticancer and antioxidative properties. Docking study was also performed to understand the interaction of these complexes with protein enzymes.
