Heterojunction structures for reduced noise in large-area and sensitive perovskite x-ray detectors

Ying Zhou et al.

Summary: A heterojunction structure applied to polycrystalline perovskite detectors significantly reduces the dark current density while maintaining sensitivity. The detectors have a low lowest detectable dose rate for x-rays and can conduct dynamic x-ray imaging at a low-dose rate. Simulation and experimental analysis show that the heterojunction is stable and tolerant of halide diffusion for over 15 years.

High-sensitivity high-resolution X-ray imaging with soft-sintered metal halide perovskites

Sarah Deumel et al.

Summary: This paper describes a method to create X-ray flat-panel detector arrays based on microcrystalline MAPbI(3) using a two-step manufacturing process, achieving high spatial resolution and sensitivity by separating the fabrication of absorber wafers from their integration on pixelated backplanes.
