Mechanochemical N-sulfenylations of sulfoximines and sulfonimidamides mediated by silver oxide under solvent-free conditions have been developed. The reactions are easy to perform, proceed well on a gram scale, and tolerate a wide range of functional groups in the substrates. Compared to its solvent-based counterpart, the mechanochemical approach shows significant ecological advantages.
