Coping strategies and mental health during COVID-19 lockdown

Summary: Positive thinking, active stress coping, and social support were found to be predictors of higher quality of life and well-being, and lower levels of stress, depression, anxiety, and insomnia during the COVID-19 lockdown. In contrast, alcohol and cigarette consumption were associated with lower quality of life and well-being, and higher levels of stress, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Support in faith was a positive predictor for higher levels of stress, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
