Evaluation of Static Autonomous GNSS Positioning Accuracy Using Single-, Dual-, and Tri-Frequency Smartphones in Forest Canopy Environments

Summary: Determining the current position in a forest is crucial for many applications. This study compares the static autonomous GNSS positioning accuracy of multi-frequency multi-constellation smartphones and single-frequency smartphones under forest conditions. The results show that multi-frequency smartphones generally achieve higher positioning accuracy, but there are significant variations in accuracy among different smartphones.
