Bilateral asymmetry in the gait deviation index in school-aged children with the trait of developmental coordination disorder

Tadashi Ito et al.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate gait symmetry in children with traits of DCD, finding that children with DCD traits had lower gait quality and higher symmetry ratio than typically developing children. The study also revealed a negative correlation between motor control and GDI symmetry ratio in children with DCD traits.
