Summary: The study found that dolichocephaly was the most common head shape deformity in very preterm infants and its severity was correlated with gestational age and body weight at term equivalent age. Head circumference and cranial volume did not significantly differ between very preterm and term infants, and digitally measured head circumference and cranial volume were significantly correlated even in infants with head shape deformities.
