Healthcare use by children and young adults with cerebral palsy

Summary: By linking a CP register with hospital data, it was possible to analyze healthcare utilization by severity of CP. The study found that individuals with CP in Northern Ireland had higher hospital admission rates, particularly for respiratory conditions, compared to the general population. Those with severe CP were significantly more likely to require both inpatient and outpatient care.
