The effect of almond intake on lipid profile: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Summary: This meta-analysis found that almond intake significantly reduced concentrations of triglycerides, total cholesterol, and low-density lipoproteins, but had no significant effect on high-density lipoprotein levels. Meta-regression analysis revealed a linear relationship between almond dose and triglyceride changes.
