Utilizing TVDI and NDWI to Classify Severity of Agricultural Drought in Chuping, Malaysia

Veena Shashikant et al.

Summary: This study successfully identified drought areas in Chuping, Malaysia using a combination of TVDI and NDWI, with particular focus on the significant increase in dryness in the Kilang Gula Chuping area over three years. The analysis revealed significant clustering in the region, and meteorology departments can utilize the research findings to understand water deficits severity and identify cloud seeding points during drought.
