A Brief Introduction to Observational Entropy

Dominik Safranek et al.

Summary: Observational entropy has been developed as a quantum generalization of Boltzmann entropy and a general framework for classical and quantum equilibrium and non-equilibrium coarse-grained entropy. This paper reviews its construction, interpretation, important properties, and applications, aimed at a broad class of researchers in a self-contained and pedagogical manner.

Entanglement and nonlocality dynamics of a Bell state and the GHZ state in a noisy environment

Yue-Qiu Chen et al.

Summary: The entanglement and nonlocality dynamics of a two-qubit Bell state and a three-qubit GHZ state in a noisy environment were investigated analytically. Analytic expressions for concurrence, violation of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt inequality, and genuinely multipartite concurrence were obtained for the evolution states. For a class of three-qubit states with special correlation matrix forms, analytic expressions for the maximum violation of the Svetlichny inequality of the evolution state were found under certain conditions on the parameters in the master equation.

Monogamy of quantum discord

Summary: This work defines the complete monogamy of multipartite quantum discord (MQD) and global quantum discord (GQD), showing that MQD is completely monogamous while GQD is not.

Quantum discord for multiqubit systems

Bo Li et al.

Summary: This paper analytically evaluated the quantum discord for a large family of multiqubit states, revealing interesting relationships between the discord values of different numbers of qubits. The quantum discord of this family of states was classified into three categories, with the level surfaces visualized through images. Additionally, the dynamic behavior of quantum discord under decoherence was investigated, demonstrating differences between odd and even partite systems.
