This article introduces a new memristive chaotic system and highlights its ability to generate multiple stable states and control the amplitude.
This letter creates a new memristive chaotic system by applying memristor with cubic nonlinear function to Sprott A system. The equilibria and their stabilities of the system are calculated. Its striking property is that it is capable of yielding multistability and amplitude control. It also has rich period-doubling and inverse period-doubling bifurcations with the parameters change. Various types of double coexisting attractors are numerically illustrated. Moreover its amplitude controls on periodic and chaotic attractors are presented.
