COVID-19-Related Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Among Jordanian Nurses During the Pandemic

Summary: This study explored the extent of PTSD experiences among nurses in Jordan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The prevalence of PTSD among the study participants was 37.1%. Factors such as age, gender, education level, years of experience, place of work, and working position were found to have significant differences in overall COVID-19-related PTSD.

Nurses' Self-Efficacy, Confidence and Interaction With Patients With COVID-19: A Cross-Sectional Study

Summary: The study aimed to evaluate nurses' self-efficacy, confidence, and nurse-patient interaction when caring for COVID-19 patients. Results showed a positive relationship between nurses' self-efficacy, confidence, and interaction. Significant differences were found in self-efficacy based on years of experience, academic qualifications, and position. Recommendations include developing strategies to enhance nurses' self-efficacy, confidence, and interaction with COVID-19 patients.
