Microstructure Dependence of Effective Thermal Conductivity of EB-PVD TBCs

Summary: The study investigated the microstructure dependence of effective thermal conductivity of columnar structure electron beam physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD coating) to optimize thermal insulation, taking into account constraints by mechanical stress. Results show that the inclination angle optimization is crucial for balancing thermal insulation and mechanical stress of the coating.
