Summary: In this paper, we establish the well-posedness for the third grade fluid equation perturbed by a multiplicative white noise, which describes the motion of a non-Newtonian fluid with relevant viscoelastic properties. By taking the initial condition in the Sobolev space H-2, we show the existence and uniqueness of a strong solution in a two-dimensional and non-axisymmetric bounded domain.

Multiple slips impact in the MHD hybrid nanofluid flow with Cattaneo-Christov heat flux and autocatalytic chemical reaction

Hina Gul et al.

Summary: This study examines the flow of nanofluid containing multi and single-walled carbon nanotubes submerged in Ethylene glycol in a Darcy-Forchheimer permeable media over a stretching cylinder with multiple slips. The mathematical model takes into account non-uniform source/sink impacts, modified Fourier law, and autocatalytic chemical reaction. Entropy optimization analysis is performed and the nonlinear system is converted to ordinary differential equations for solution using the Shooting technique and bvp4c MATLAB software. The study shows that a strong magnetic field enhances temperature profile and decreases velocity profile, while fluid velocity decreases with increasing slip parameter. Additionally, entropy number increases with higher thermal relaxation parameter and Reynolds number.

Summary: Entropy Generation Optimization (EGO) has attracted significant interest for its applications in various fields, including mechanical engineering, air conditioning, heat engines, and others. This study focuses on radiative hybrid nanofluid and conventional nanofluid in the presence of Lorentz forces, analyzing temperature, entropy generation, and thermophysical characteristics. Results show that thermal conductivities increase with stronger thermal radiations and magnetic fields, while entropy production is influenced by dissipative effects and magnetized fluid. The hybrid nanofluid shows enhanced thermal transport properties compared to regular liquid, making it suitable for industrial and technological uses.
