Two Natural Recombination gave rise to the Coxsackievirus B3 GV that triggered outbreaks in China in 2006-2012

Hua Wang et al.

Summary: Recombination and phylogenetic analysis of Enterovirus B genomes from GenBank revealed that Coxsackievirus B3 GV strains in China during 2006-2012 were the result of natural recombination events with origins from other Coxsackievirus B3 and EchoV E25 strains. This study provides important insights into the transmission and evolution of the virus.
