Pregnant Women's Exposure to Household Air Pollution in Rural Bangladesh: A Feasibility Study for Poriborton: The CHANge Trial

Jonathan Thornburg et al.

Summary: This study evaluates methods of personal exposure measurement for assessing the reduction in household air pollution (HAP) due to the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for cooking. The results show higher PM2.5 concentrations in the afternoon, evening, and overnight when cooking with LPG stoves. The intervention with LPG stoves significantly reduces PM2.5 concentrations.
