Utilization of doped/undoped graphene quantum dots for ultrasensitive detection of duphaston, a SERS platform

Y. Sheena Mary et al.

Summary: The study investigated the interaction mechanism and adsorption effect of duphaston with different nanoclusters in drug delivery systems. Various spectroscopic properties and the use of surface enhanced Raman scattering were explored. It was found that COG-B nanocluster exhibited maximum energy interaction, with DPH acting as an electron donor on the electrophilic site of the nanoclusters. Higher charge transfer was observed for COG-B compared to other nanoclusters.

Investigations of adsorption behavior and anti-inflammatory activity of glycine functionalized Al12N12 and Al12ON11 fullerene-like cages

Mehrdad Aghaei et al.

Summary: The computational evaluation of amino acid adsorption onto Al12N12 and Al16N16 fullerene-like cages revealed that Gly can chemically bond with aluminum atoms, with oxygen and carbon doping enhancing interaction efficiency. The most stable interaction configuration was found to be the Al12ON11/Gly complex, with potential as an efficient inhibitor of the key cytokine TNF-alpha. Molecular docking analysis confirmed good binding affinity of the complexes with TNF-alpha.
