Simultaneous determination of phosphite and phosphate in fertilizers by Raman spectroscopy

Evilim M. Oliveira et al.

Summary: Raman spectroscopy was successfully applied to simultaneously determine phosphate and phosphite in fertilizers. Accurate and selective analysis was achieved by selecting appropriate pH and specific bands, with linear working range and low limits of detection. The proposed method showed good agreement with the spectrophotometric method and high spike sample recoveries.
