Enhanced somatic embryogenesis and plantlet regeneration in Cenchrus ciliaris L.

Summary: A highly reproducible plant regeneration protocol was developed for Cenchrus ciliaris through somatic embryogenesis and shoot organogenesis. Different explants and optimal concentrations of hormones and nutrients were utilized to achieve efficient callus induction and plant regeneration. The ultrastructural features of somatic embryos confirmed proper formation and development, with successful in vitro plant regeneration accomplished through somatic embryogenesis.
