Characteristics, source apportionment and health risk assessment of heavy metals exposure via household dust from six cities in China

Xiuge Zhao et al.

Summary: Research on heavy metals in household dust during heating and non-heating period in urban and rural areas in 2016-2017 found that Dalian was the most polluted city, while Shanghai and Chengdu were the least polluted cities. Longer ventilation times led to higher concentrations of heavy metals, with ingestion being the primary exposure route.

Characteristics of coal dust deflagration under the atmosphere of methane and their inhibition by coal ash

Qi Zhao et al.

Summary: The study revealed that under certain methane atmosphere, the addition of coal ash can prevent the decomposition of coal dust to a certain extent and weaken the intensity of coal dust deflagration. The inhibitory mechanisms of coal ash on coal dust deflagration were summarized based on material analysis.
