Optimal decisions for competitive manufacturers under carbon tax and cap-and-trade policies

Summary: This study examines the carbon emission reduction of two competitive manufacturers under carbon tax and cap-and-trade policies. The results indicate that the cap-and-trade policy is more sensitive to consumer environmental awareness and can effectively curb carbon emissions.
