Construction of novel binary metal oxides: Copper oxide-tin oxide nanoparticles regulated for selective and nanomolar level electrochemical detection of anti-psychotic drug

Summary: In this study, CuO, SnO2, and CuO/SnO2 NPs were synthesized through an eco-friendly co-precipitation technique for the electrochemical detection of CPMH. The CuO/SnO2 NPs/SPCE showed superior performance with lower charge transfer resistance, higher active surface area, and enhanced anodic current compared to other electrodes. The CuO/SnO2 NPs modified sensor exhibited potential for electrocatalytic detection of CPMH with a low limit of detection and satisfactory selectivity, reproducibility, and repeatability outcomes.

Summary: A new heterogeneous nanocatalyst containing Cu-dimethylglyoxime complex grafted to an MCM-41 matrix was synthesized and applied as a highly effective, green, and thermally stable catalyst in the one-pot reductive cyclization of aromatic aldehydes with 2-aminobenzamide. The eco-friendly nanocatalyst demonstrated excellent recyclability, being able to be reused for at least six successive cycles without any notable decrease in its catalytic function.

Green synthesis and characterization of Ud-SnO2-ZnO using Urtica dioica leaf extract: A nanocomposite photocatalyst for degradation of Rhodamine B dye

Additionally, the band gap energy of USZNC was higher, indicating good photocatalytic performance.
