Controlled spalling-based mechanical substrate exfoliation for III-V solar cells: A review

Jie Chen et al.

Summary: Controlled spalling is a fast process for mechanically exfoliating III-V semiconductor layers, potentially producing high power-density, flexible solar cells. By tuning stressor layer and peeling force, controlled spalling maintains device performance and saves cost and material resources.
