Dynamic Framework for Criticality-Enhanced Quantum Sensing

Driven-dissipative phase transition in a Kerr oscillator: From semiclassical PT symmetry to quantum fluctuations

Summary: In this study, a minimal model involving a driven-dissipative quantum phase transition in a Kerr nonlinear oscillator was analyzed using different theoretical approaches. The critical phenomena, including continuous phase transition, Z(2) symmetry breaking, PT symmetry, state squeezing, and critical fluctuations, were investigated and complemented by each approach. The model serves as a paradigm for exploration of open quantum many-body physics due to its simplicity and solvability.
