The better photoelectric performance of thin-film TiO2/c-Si heterojunction solar cells based on surface plasmon resonance

Summary: The combination of Ag nanoparticles and TiO2 inverted triangular prism significantly enhances the absorption of solar energy in thin-film c-silicon heterojunction solar cells, leading to a high power conversion efficiency. The optimized geometries of Ag NPs and TiO2 IP based on J(SC) values result in a maximum J(SC) of 32.81 mA/cm(2) and a highest PCE of 14.16%. Additionally, the mechanism of solar energy absorption by SSCs is further explained through analysis of electric field intensity distribution profiles for different structures at different wavelengths.
