Monitoring coccidia in commercial broiler chicken flocks in Ontario: comparing oocyst cycling patterns in flocks using anticoccidial medications or live vaccination

R. P. Snyder et al.

Summary: This study sampled commercial Ontario broiler chicken flocks to determine differences in oocyst shedding patterns between medicated flocks and vaccinated flocks. Despite higher oocyst shedding in medicated flocks, their performance data were similar to vaccinated flocks.
