Stationary optical solitons with Kudryashov's quintuple power-law of refractive index having nonlinear chromatic dispersion

Anjan Biswas et al.

Summary: This paper implements extended trial function algorithm to retrieve stationary optical soliton solutions to the governing nonlinear Schrodinger's equation with Kudryashov's lately proposed quintuple power law of refractive index, in the presence of nonlinear chromatic dispersion. Both, linear temporal evolution as well as generalized temporal evolution are taken into account.

Embedded solitons in second-harmonic-generating lattices

Hadi Susanto et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the search for embedded solitons in discrete systems with quadratic and cubic nonlinearities, constructing these solitons using analytical approximations and numerical calculations. Various types of discrete embedded solitons are produced, and it is found that some of them exhibit linear stability, making them genuinely robust modes.

Stationary optical solitons with Kudryashov's laws of refractive index

Mehmet Ekici et al.

Summary: This work revisits stationary solitons modeled by six newly proposed laws of nonlinear refractive index by Nikolay Kudryashov, with consideration of the nonlinear version of chromatic dispersion. The extended trial function approach enabled this retrieval, with results displayed alongside respective parameter constraints.

Stationary optical solitons with nonlinear chromatic dispersion and generalized temporal evolution by extended trial function approach

Nuray Sucu et al.

Summary: This paper explores the recovery of stationary optical soliton solutions under nonlinear chromatic dispersion, in addition to self-phase modulation. Using an extended trial function algorithm, the paper successfully recovers stationary soliton solutions for eleven forms of nonlinear refractive index structures of optical fibers. Technical criteria for the existence of such stationary solitons are also presented.

Optical solitons of the resonant nonlinear Schrodinger equation with arbitrary index

Nikolay A. Kudryashov

Summary: The reduction of traveling waves of the resonant nonlinear Schrödinger equation with arbitrary refractive index is discussed in this study. The system of equations for the real and imaginary parts is presented and the first integrals for this system are found. The equations are transformed into a single governing nonlinear ordinary differential equation, and exact solutions in the form of periodic and solitary waves are provided for different values of the refractive index.
