The nanosheets show high yield after rapid exfoliation reaction of CaSi2 in CO2 atmosphere and mild sonication. Ultra-high reversible capacity and outstanding electrochemical stability are observed in lithium-ion batteries using Si/SiOx/C nanosheets as anodes after applying a thin carbon outer layer coating.

Ultrathin Conductive Interlayer with High-Density Antisite Defects for Advanced Lithium-Sulfur Batteries
