Boosted photoreduction of diluted CO2 through oxygen vacancy engineering in NiO nanoplatelets

Weiyi Chen et al.

Summary: By synthesizing oxygen vacancy-laden NiO nanoplatelets and utilizing a Ru-based photosensitizer, efficient reduction of diluted CO(2) under visible light irradiation was achieved, demonstrating higher activity and selectivity compared to normal NiO. This research offers valuable insights for the future photocatalytic reduction of diluted CO(2).

Enhanced catalytic performance of Nix-V@HSS catalysts for the DRM reaction: The study of interfacial effects on Ni-VOx structure with a unique yolk-shell structure

Yao Lu et al.

Summary: A series of Ni-x-V@HSS catalysts were prepared using a facile one-pot microemulsion method and evaluated in the dry reforming of methane reaction. The Ni-VOx structure's interfacial effects on the catalysts' performance were found to significantly influence the activity and stability. Ni9.6-V@HSS catalyst showed the best activity and stability, potentially due to the formation of more oxygen vacancies in VOx species and enhanced anti-sintering ability.
