Green synthesis of Au@WSe2 hybrid nanostructures with the enhanced peroxidase-like activity for sensitive colorimetric detection of glucose

This work not only enhances the multi-nanozyme activity of nanocomposites, but also provides a pathway for the rapid analysis of specific targets using special nanozyme activities.

Ultrathin iron-cobalt oxide nanosheets with enhanced H2O2 activation performance for efficient degradation of tetracycline

A novel selective detection method for sulfide in food systems based on the GMP-Cu nanozyme with laccase activity

Copper single-atom catalysts with photothermal performance and enhanced nanozyme activity for bacteria-infected wound therapy

Summary: This study highlights the enhanced catalytic activity of nanozymes through the construction of Cu SASs/NPC for photothermal-catalytic antibacterial treatment strategy. The introduction of Cu significantly improves the catalytic performance of nanozymes, effectively killing bacteria and improving sterilization effect. The synergistic PTT-catalytic antibacterial strategy shows almost 100% antibacterial efficiency against E. coli and MRSA, demonstrating wide bio-applications of Cu-containing catalysts in antibacterial and anti-infective treatments.

Summary: The Urchin-like peroxidase mimic Por-CuCo2O4 has been fabricated as an excellent visual biosensor for sensitive detection of dopamine (DA) with high sensitivity and good selectivity in serum samples. The catalytic activity of Por-CuCo2O4 was evaluated by chromogenic substrate TMB with H2O2, showing a rapid visual blue change. Experiments confirmed that electron transfer, O-2(-) radicals, and holes (h(+)) are important factors during the catalytic oxidation process.

The system consists of Pt-decorated hollow Ag-Au trimetallic nanocages and glucose oxidase, which can continuously supply O-2 and consume glucose to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of combined starvation and photothermal therapy in hypoxic tumors.
