Effects of exercise training on renal interstitial fibrosis and renin-angiotensin system in rats with chronic renal failure

Seiko Yamakoshi et al.

Summary: Exercise training has been shown to alleviate renal damage in rats with chronic renal failure by improving hypertension, proteinuria, renal dysfunction, glomerular sclerosis, and renal interstitial fibrosis. Additionally, exercise training can regulate abnormal expressions of collagen components and RAS in the kidneys.
