Hierarchical mesoporous NiCoP hollow nanocubes as efficient and stable electrodes for high-performance hybrid supercapacitor

Summary: Transitional metal phosphides have been extensively studied for their superior electrical conductivity, rich valences, and high electrochemical activity. The hierarchical mesoporous NiCoP hollow nanocubes electrode material shows great potential as a novel battery-type electrode for super-capacitors due to its high specific capacity, ultra-high rate capability, and cycling stability. Additionally, a hybrid super-capacitor assembled with NiCoP and activated carbon achieves high energy density and power density with exceptional cycling stability.

Synergistic effect of microwave heating and hydrothermal methods on synthesized Ni2CoS4/GO for ultrahigh capacity supercapacitors

Summary: A simple and efficient strategy was used to synthesize Ni2CoS4/graphene oxide through the synergistic effect of microwave heating method and hydrothermal method. The resulting electrode demonstrated ultrahigh specific capacitance, excellent stability, and outstanding rate capability in supercapacitors, as well as delivering a good specific capacitance, outstanding stability, and ultrahigh energy density in asymmetric supercapacitors. This work provides a method for synthesizing electrode materials with superior performances in practical applications in supercapacitors.
