Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) have been extensively studied for the extraction of food, medicinal plants, and seaweeds, but their ability for co-extraction of trace elements from natural sources remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the capability of common NADES for co-extraction of trace elements from Fucus vesiculosus. The results showed that all tested NADES did not recover arsenic and cobalt.
