Summary: Mimosa pudica Linn is a key component of Traditional Medicine Systems in several countries and has been used for centuries to treat various diseases. Phytochemical investigations have revealed the presence of key chemical constituents such as alkaloids, phenols, and flavonoids, which contribute to the pharmacological activities of Mimosa pudica Linn. Further research is needed to isolate and study the active compounds of Mimosa pudica Linn for their medicinal properties, especially in the context of anti-cancer activities.
