Effects of backward inclination on a pulsed jet in crossflow

Sukendro Broto Sasongko et al.

Summary: The effects of backward inclination angle on the flow and jet dispersion characteristics of a pulsed jet in crossflow were experimentally studied. It was found that a small backward inclination angle could lead to an increase in jet-fluid dispersion and transverse spreading width. A critical angle of 20 degrees was identified where the dispersion index and spreading width reached their maximum values.
