Study on the Synthesis of ZnO Nanoparticles Using Azadirachta indica Extracts for the Fabrication of a Gas Sensor

Summary: The study compared the effects of A. indica plant proteins and chemical methods on the morphology of zinc oxide nanoparticles and ethanol sensing performance. Biosynthesis, characterization, and antibacterial activity of ZnO nanoaggregates using aqueous extract from Anacardium occidentale leaf: comparative study of different precursors

Summary: The aqueous extract of Anacardium occidentale leaves was successfully used to biosynthesize ZnO nanoaggregates with strong antibacterial activity, particularly in inhibiting Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. The study suggested that A. occidentale species could be a promising alternative source for efficient antibacterial compounds against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative microbes.
