Multifunctional sandwich-structured double-carbon-layer modified SnS nanotubes with high capacity and stability for Li-ion batteries

Jia Luo et al.

Summary: Tin monosulfide (SnS) anodes have been extensively studied for lithium-ion batteries due to their high theoretical specific capacity. In this study, a N-doped double-carbon-layer protective hierarchical structure was introduced to decorate SnS nanotubes, effectively addressing the poor conductivity and volume fluctuation issues. The N-DCSNs structure exhibited excellent electrochemical performance, delivering high capacity retention and long-term stability.
