Hepatectomy, RFA, and Other Liver Directed Therapies for Treatment of Breast Cancer Liver Metastasis: A Systematic Review

Summary: Liver directed therapies such as hepatic resection and RFA show promise in prolonging survival for well-selected patients with breast cancer liver metastasis. TACE and TARE are used for chemo-resistant, unresectable disease. Further studies with larger cohorts are needed to investigate the effectiveness of each modality.
